Fairly clean hotel with prime and secure location in Playa del Carmen next to pedestrian zone and Avenue 5 and excellent nearby restaurants. Very well maintained building and rooms with 2 beds. Delicious food in the open-air restaurant.
Wi-Fi was very limited.

The location of the resort is stunning and unbeatable, just a 10-15 minute walk from Quinta Alegria Shopping Mall. the staff is absolutely fantastic, offering free concierge service, wake-up calls, and ironing services. the bed in the room is exceptionally comfortable, and the room itself is perfect and elegant.

The breakfast at Mahekal Beach Front Resort & Spa is exceptionally good, with many exotic fruits on offer. the location of the hotel is marvelous, being close to Playa del Carmen downtown. the rooms have a rustic yet upscale feel, and guests have easy access to all the pools, restaurants, and the beach.

I stayed at a beach resort in Playa del Carmen that was conveniently located near the city center. It was just a short stroll away from the best restaurants in the area. The resort itself was situated right on the beautiful beach, offering breathtaking views from the rooms. The staff provided top-notch service, making me feel like a VIP during my stay. The breakfast options were delicious, with a variety of choices to satisfy every palate.
One downside was the noise level at times, as the thatched roofs didn't provide much sound insulation.

We loved every second of our stay at this amazing resort. The rooms, especially our garden Palapa room, were large, stunning, and felt like an oasis in the jungle. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms were top-notch. The hotel facilities, including the pool areas and other amenities, were fantastic and never too busy. The location close to the center allowed us to easily explore the city and enjoy great restaurants like PRIMO in the evening. Additionally, being just a few minutes walk away from the shopping area was incredibly convenient. The proximity to the beach and the Fuego restaurant added to the overall charm of this boutique resort. The best part, however, was the staff. From the ice cream station to the restaurant/bar service, every staff member was friendly and attentive. They treated our one-year-old like a princess and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Special mention goes to Alan, Rosa, Sergio, Isaac, Gilberto. Thank you all for giving us the most amazing holiday.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the beautiful beachfront location and the stunning views of the ocean. The warm water and fun atmosphere made it a great setting for our holiday getaway. Additionally, the resort's proximity to the main street allowed us easy access to shopping and dining options.
Our experience was marred by unreliable information given by the hotel staff. We were promised a certain amount of credit to use at a specific restaurant, but upon check-out, we were charged for items that were supposed to be covered by the credit.
